Activation

The development kits provided by APLUX must be used in an activated environment. Activation is performed through the LMS component included in the AidLux SDK.

LMS activation uses an online-first authorization approach, followed by offline license validation. The workflow is shown below:

Activation status for different types of development boards:

• APLUX AidLux OS Dev Board: LMS is pre-activated in the Linux system environment.
• APLUX Linux Container Dev Board: LMS is pre-activated in the container image.
• Third-party Dev Boards: Please contact APLUX for activation and licensing guidance.

💡Note

If a previously activated board is reflashed with a new firmware (ROM), it is treated as a new device and must be reactivated.
